Immerse yourself in the ultimate Disney themed hotel. Disneyland Hotel embodies the glamour and charm of Disneyland in it’s early years right through to fun, exciting park it is in the modern day.

The original Disney hotel has three main towers themed to Frontierland, Adventureland and Fantasyland (being the original tower at the hotel and opening just after Disneyland Park in 1955!)

Disney Vacation Club – This resort is opening a Disney Vacation Club Tower, The Villas at The Disneyland Hotel which will feature studio guest rooms, all the way up to multiple bedroom accommodations. See all of the resort’s room types here.

The Disneyland Hotel features some unique dining locations, unlike most found across the Disneyland Resort.

• Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill – Inspired by the Enchanted Tiki Room, this tranquil oasis offers travellers a spacious wraparound terrace surrounded by swaying palms. Dine alfresco under tribal-print lanterns while taking in views of the pools at the Disneyland Hotel. Or find a seat inside amidst island-inspired décor. Guests of the Disneyland Hotel can even enjoy meals poolside.
• Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar – Mystery, romance and adventure await you at this bewitching tiki bar inspired by the world-famous Jungle Cruise. This is like no bar you’ve ever experienced! *A must visit! for over 21s!
• The Coffee House – See what’s brewing at this convenient Disneyland Hotel courtyard location that serves many of your favourite caffeinated treats. Fresh fruit, cereals, parfaits and palate-pleasing pastries—including croissants, cookies, muffins and more—are also available.
• Goofy’s Kitchen – Enjoy an exciting breakfast buffet before a day in the parks, or end your magical day with a delightful dinner, both accompanied by some of your favourite Disney characters!

• Pools – Enjoy a splash from the past at the 2 retro-themed pools, 2 monorail themed waterslides, 2 whirlpool spas and fun water play area.
• Poolside Cabanas – Located near the Monorail Slide and E-Ticket Pool, poolside cabanas at the Disneyland Hotel invite you to lounge the day away in luxurious comfort and style. Learn more here.
• Seasonal Activities – Different activities are available to guests throughout the year, suiting the individual seasons celebrated at the resort.

• Disneyland Monorail – Guests staying at The Disneyland Hotel have the most convenient access to the Disneyland Monorail. Guests with valid theme park admission to Disneyland can skip the Main Entrance by boarding the Monorail at the Downtown Disney District station—and travel straight to Tomorrowland! Trains run approximately every 10 minutes.
• Early Theme Park Entry – The early entry benefit is only for Guests who are checked in and currently staying at one of the Disneyland Resort hotels at the time of their early entry admission to a theme park. Guests can enjoy additional time in the parks before the normal-day guests but will need a valid theme park ticket and park pass reservation.
• Key to the Magic – Your Key to the Magic card is your room key, Resort charge card and parking permit. You will receive your card when you check in. Reimagining

Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel is undergoing a full reimagining, seeing the original theme and aesthetics replaced with a modern resort, inspired by the world’s of Disney Pixar’s stories in the Pixar Place Hotel.

According to Disney Park’s Blog – Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel will soon begin a transformation, with an all-new theme! The reimagining of the hotel will weave the artistry of Pixar into its comfortable, contemporary setting. Guests will gain a new perspective on some of their favorite Pixar worlds and characters through carefully curated artwork, and décor that reveals the creative journey of the artists who helped bring these stories to life.

Restaurants and Bars

Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel features a laidback, relaxed atmosphere and dining options that match.

During the reimagining, the hotel’s dining locations are unavailable. Guests are recommended to visit dining options at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel or Downtown Disney. A Self-Serve Market is available at the resort for Guest’s convenience.

Recreation

Take time out of the parks to enjoy the recreation options at Disney’s Grand California Hotel.

• Swimming Pool – The Paradise Pier Hotel pools are currently unavailable. Guests are welcome to enjoy the pools at the Disneyland Hotel.
• Fireworks Viewing – On select nights, watch the Disneyland Park fireworks—and listen to a live synchronized broadcast of the stirring soundtrack—from the third-floor pool deck.
• Paradise Theatre – From the comfort of a cozy beach chair, watch classic Disney films at this seashore-themed screening room designed for kids. Entertainment is presented continuously on a sandcastle television throughout the day.
• Fitness Centre – Unfortunately the Paradise Pier Hotel Fitness Centre is unavailable. Guests are welcome to utilise the facilities at the Disneyland Hotel.

Disney Good Neighbour Hotels

Disneyland Resort has good neighbour hotels that surround the Resort. As this list does change occasionally, please visit the Disneyland Good Neighbour Hotel webpage to see their latest list, link below.

These hotels range from being across the street from Disneyland’s entrance to several miles away. Some also perks such as free or paid for transportation to the theme parks.

Although these hotels are further away from the bight lights of the theme parks and Downtown Disney, they still offer good value for those looking to visit the Disneyland Resort with a lower budget.

We have personally experienced the Grand Legacy at the Park, Hotel Lulu and Hyatt Regency – all Good Neighbour hotels each have their own pros and cons. We will be writing blog reviews about these resorts soon so subscribe below so you don’t miss out!
