If you’re planning a visit to Knott’s Berry Farm, staying at the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel is a fantastic way to keep the fun going even after the park closes! On our recent trip, we had the chance to experience the newly renovated hotel, and we’re excited to share our thoughts on everything from the updated rooms to the dining options and overall atmosphere.
This visit was our first to Knott’s Berry Farm. We’d researched the park and hotel (pre-renovations) and from the moment we stepped into the lobby, it was clear that Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel had undergone a major transformation. The modern, stylish design blends seamlessly with the park’s nostalgic charm, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Everything looked fresh, clean, and well-maintained, making for a great first impression!
Our Stay: The Classic Package Experience
For our visit, we opted for the Classic Package, which included a standard king bedroom, one-day admission to Knott’s Berry Farm, and a breakfast buffet. The package was a great deal, offering convenience and savings for our trip.
We arrived at the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel around 11am, not expecting to check-in but hoping to leave our bags with the front desk. To our surprise, we were able to check-in and they had a room ready for us!
As we had booked the Classic Package, we were also able to collect our Knott’s Berry Farm theme park tickets and head straight over to the park.
Redesigned Guestrooms
Our standard king room was bright, spacious, and featured a modern yet cozy design. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like ample charging ports, a mini-fridge, and a sleek, updated bathroom. The room felt fresh and inviting, making it a perfect retreat after a long day of park adventures.
The charming decorations throughout the room really reminded us of Knott’s humble history and brought some extra life to an already comfortable room.
Dining Options: What We Tried (and What We Missed!)
The hotel boasts several dining options, including the newly introduced Thirty Acres Kitchen & Bar, the Lobby Bar, and The Pantry coffee shop. While we did explore some of the dining options, we completely forgot to take advantage of our included breakfast buffet—oops! However, from what we heard from other guests, the buffet offers a hearty and delicious selection of breakfast classics, so we’ll definitely make a point to try it next time.
We did enjoy a morning coffee from The Pantry coffee shop which proudly serves Starbucks Coffee. They also had a wide selection of delicious looking pastries and breakfast items. During our visit we decided to try a boysenberry iced latte – when in Rome Knott’s, right?
In the evening we found ourselves at the Lobby Bar, which was shared with the Thirty Acres restaurant. They offered a wide selection of drinks, including: beers, wines and specialty cocktails. We enjoyed a boysenberry mule and boysenberry mojito – again… when at Knott’s!
Upgraded Amenities
One of the standout features of Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel is its fantastic outdoor pool and splash pad area, perfect for cooling off after a hot day at the park. The hotel also has a fitness centre for those who want to stay active during their trip. As well as a guest laundry facility, sauna and steam room (which unfortunately wasn’t working during our visit).
Plus, the location is unbeatable – just a short walk to the entrance of Knott’s Berry Farm, making it super convenient, especially if you want to stop by your room part way through your theme park day.
Also, if you’re in the mood for a little bit of shopping, The Berry Place Market is located just off of the lobby and is home to a selection of Knott’s Berry Farm merchandise, Hotel specific items, Peanuts & Snoopy products and, of course, plenty of boysenberry goodies!
Event Spaces: A Quick Look
Although we didn’t personally use the event spaces, we did take a peek inside, and they looked impressive! The 8,400-square-foot ballroom and meeting areas seemed well-designed and ideal for events, conferences, or even weddings (their courtyard looked like an amazing wedding venue). It’s great to see that the hotel caters to both leisure and business travellers alike.
Final Thoughts: Would We Stay Again?
Absolutely! The renovations have truly elevated the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel experience, making it a fantastic option for families, couples, and theme park lovers looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. If you’re planning a trip to Knott’s Berry Farm, we highly recommend checking out the hotel – just don’t forget to enjoy your breakfast buffet!
