Day Seven of our West Coast Road Trip: A Las Vegas Extravaganza

LAS VEGAS, NV

HEY STRANGERS!

Hello, fellow adventurers! Jake and Georgia here, ready to share all the excitement of our full day in Las Vegas on our epic West Coast road trip. Our morning started with a quick pit stop at the Brioche Bar in the Paris hotel lobby, where we indulged in Nutella brioche and coffee. Afterward, we explored our Parisian-themed resort before hitting the Strip for another day of exploration.

Our journey took us through Aria and the New York New York, and we briefly paused at iconic spots like the Hershey Chocolate World and Hard Rock Cafe in the MGM Grand.

Lunchtime called for Chick-fil-A before we geared up for an afternoon and evening filled with Vegas adventures. But first, we made sure to refill our Fat Tuesdays boozy slushies, ensuring we were ready for whatever the day had in store.

Our stroll down the Strip continued, this time leading us into the Venetian Resort, where we marveled at the gondolas before venturing into the mall for some light shopping. From there, we wandered into Treasure Island before looping back to Paris for a quick change before the night’s festivities.

A final top-up of our Fat Tuesdays was in order before we stopped for our first-ever meal from In-N-Out Burger, a fast-food joint we’d been eager to try for years. Spoiler alert: it did not disappoint!

Our evening carried us into the Flamingo for a bit of roulette, and believe it or not, we came out with a win! As the night drew to a close, we headed to the Bellagio for a breathtaking performance of Cirque Du Soleil’s “O,” a classic Cirque show with a massive pool as the stage. The show left us both thoroughly amazed and entertained.

We wrapped up the night with a short viewing of the world-famous Bellagio fountains before crossing the Strip once more, returning to Paris to rest for the night.

As has been the case every day of our journey so far, we started early and ended late, making the most of every moment. Tomorrow, we’ll bid farewell to Vegas as we embark on a short drive toward Death Valley for a night in an incredibly unique Airbnb.
