And if you simply crave a refreshing dip, the lake’s inviting embrace awaits you.   • Tugboat Beach
    1200 Water St
    The beach features sandy shores, meticulously designed gardens, convenient restroom facilities, options for renting paddle boats, and areas to launch boats. It is conveniently located near restaurants, shopping centers, vibrant nightlife, and even offers live music performances on the Waterfront Park Island Stage during the summer. While dogs are allowed on the boardwalk and walkways as long as they are leashed, they are not allowed on the beach itself.
  • Boyce-Gyro Beach
    3400 Lakeshore Rd
    Renowned as one of Kelowna’s top beaches, this destination offers a range of amenities and attractions. Visitors can enjoy refreshments from snack vendors, experience the thrill of a rope swing, play volleyball on well-maintained courts, and let children have a blast at the playground. For added excitement, there’s an inflatable waterpark to explore. Additionally, water sport rentals are available, allowing visitors to try their hand at various aquatic activities. Those looking to relax can make use of the picnic areas, while convenient washroom facilities are provided for added comfort.
  • Kelowna City Park Beach / Hot Sands Beach
    1600 Abbott St
    This beach offers expansive stretches of sandy shoreline, along with amenities such as volleyball and basketball courts, lush grassy fields, a playground, a waterpark, and a skateboard park. Visitors can also find convenient washroom and change room facilities, as well as on-site rentals for various activities. It’s important to note that while dogs are allowed on the boardwalk and pathways as long as they are leashed, they are not permitted on the beach itself.

    579 Barnaby Road
    Since 1921, Kuipers has been a cherished family-owned business in Kelowna. They offer seasonal fruit picking, including cherries and apricots in July, peaches in August, and prune plums in September. Admission is $3.00 for individuals over 10 years old and includes orchard sampling. Fruit sales are priced per pound. They are open Monday through Saturday during the fruit season.
  • Twin Oaks Organic Orchard
    599 Barnaby Road
    Next to Kuipers is Twin Oaks Organic Orchard, a popular local spot with friendly owners and glowing 5-star reviews. This family-friendly orchard offers certified organic u-pick and pre-picked fruits. Here, you’ll also find animals, scenic views, and organic honey for sale! They have cherries, apricots, peaches, pears, prune plums, and apples when in season.
  • Mike and Lizzy’s Cherry U-Pick
    4801 Lakeshore Place
    Planted in 1948, this orchard is a wonderful destination for families, offering six distinct varieties of cherry trees. If you’re seeking reasonably priced u-pick cherries in Kelowna, this is an excellent choice. The amiable staff takes pleasure in engaging children and educating enthusiastic pickers about the various cherry types. Operating from 8 am to 2 pm daily during the cherry picking season in July, unless it’s raining, they eagerly welcome visitors.
